Tattoo Removal Pre-Treatment Instructions

Avoid sun exposure including tanning beds for 2 weeks prior and 2 weeks after the treatment.
A cold compress can be applied for 10–15 minutes prior to the treatment.
Avoid pain medication such as Motrin, Aleve, and aspirin 3 to 7 days prior to the treatment.

Tattoo Removal Post-Treatment Instructions

Minor discomfort and redness may occur and typically lasts 24–48 hours.
Pinpoint bleeding may also occur.
Wash the area as normal.
Cover with antibiotic ointment for 1 week.
Retreatment is recommended every 9 weeks.
Multiple treatments may be necessary.
